Katelyn and Ryan said "I Do" on the hottest day in May that I've ever experienced. The heat didn't set them back at all. Their wedding day was a combination of the dreamiest bohemian details, emotional moments, laughter, party fun, yummy desserts, and a fun corvette exit complete with a "Just Married" sign.
The Barns at Elizabeth Farms Wedding Venue:
Elizabeth Farms in Lititz, PA has over 150 acres of preserved farmland and because of this... their amazing property can bring any wedding dreams to life. Their rustic space can host up to 200 guests comfortably. Katelyn and Ryan chose to have their wedding ceremony out in the grassy field area in front of the pond and they had a gorgeous hexagon arch decorated with bohemian florals. Guests then traveled back to the covered tent area at the barn to find their seats and enjoy good food, and even better dancing.
Pink Wedding Details:
Katelyn chose soft blush pink, creams, and dusty rose for her wedding colors. These colors were incorporated beautifully throughout their Elizabeth Farms wedding day. The linens, florals, bridesmaid dresses, perfume, and even the macarons showcased all of these gorgeous pink colors.
Getting Ready space at The Barns at Elizabeth Farms Wedding Venue:
Katelyn and her ladies had the little farmhouse all to themselves to get ready for the wedding ceremony. Looks by Delaney did such a beautiful job on Katelyn's makeup look for the day and I recommend her highly if you are looking for a local Lancaster, PA makeup artist. Katelyn opted to do a first look with not only her dad, but with her bridesmaids as well. Her mom helped her get into her dress and put on her shoes and jewelry. It was a sweet and memorable time.
The Barns at Elizabeth Farms Wedding Ceremony by the pond:
Katelyn and Ryan exchanged vows down by the pond area and then got into their fun getaway Corvette and took a short drive before coming back to the venue for portraits. Everyone cheered for them as they drove away and enjoyed a few moments alone as husband and wife.
Then it was time for family portraits and bridal party photos. We chose to stay in the shade to keep cool since it was over 90 degrees that day! Check out all the fun pink wedding details below.
Private Wedding Vows and Bride and Groom Portraits:
It's officially my favorite part of the wedding day to share with you... Katelyn and Ryan's husband and wife portraits! They decided to do separate private personal vows to each other and it was the sweetest and most emotional part of the day. Both of them shed tears as they shared their hearts with the other. After they finished, we captured some sweet portraits of the two of them together.
