Woodsy Extended Family Session : Lancaster, PA : Barlow Family : Laura Patrick Photography

I love capturing my couples over the years as they grow and add to their families. When Gabie and Josh asked for me to capture their extended family and a special new baby on the way announcement at the end I couldn't say no! They coordinated their outfits without even trying which also blew my mind... only close families can do that.

The excitement when everyone realized a new baby was on the way was also one of the sweetest moments.

Urban Downtown City Engagement Session : Anna + Nick : Lancaster, PA : Laura Patrick Photography

When your engagement session feels more like a date night than a photoshoot we know it will be a good time. Anna and Nick live in downtown Lancaster, PA and they wanted to explore all the fun spots in Lancaster City that they love. We started capturing some photos with their cute pup Joey, and then we went into Sweetish Candy Store to grab some snacks and have a "Lady and the Tramp" gummy worm moment. We all left with bags of yummy gummies, and as we strolled through the city we found the cutest little spots to stop for a few photos.

We ended up at Cafe1Eight for coffees to go, and also picked up some cupcakes from Lancaster Cupcake which is only a few steps away from Cafe1Eight. We took our treats up to the top of a local parking garage and snapped some beautiful golden hour images in between our snack breaks. There was even a little bit of icing smashing... just practicing for the big wedding day haha!

After we finished on the parking garage we headed over to Lancaster Central Market, and Shot and Bottle for some beautiful images with the urban look. We ended their session in blue hour over at some really colorful murals known very well in the city.
